Positive vs. Negative

We all find ways to meet our needs. The goal is to meet them in positive ways.

The six human needs are certainty, variety, significance, love and connection, growth, and contribution. Consciously or unconsciously, we strive to meet these needs.

One of our goals should be to make sure we are proactively working toward meeting these needs in a positive way.

Our habits are like a garden. With attention, we can identify negative patterns, replace them with better actions, and fill gaps with healthy choices.

Martial arts can be one positive path for certainty, growth, connection, significance, and contribution.
